Security lock out
I have a 2001 Land Rover Range Rover Hse with the BMW 4.6. My key fob is busted and no longer works. It will not start because for some reason it went into anti theft mode. I have the physical key. I've called several dealerships. The only response I get is they no longer have the EKA codes in their system for it and they have no clue as to how I can get the EKA to reset the system. I've tried the default EKA codes 1515. Doesn't work. I've tried the disconnect the battery as well while key is in position 2. Still won't start. What do I do to bypass the anti theft mode? I can not afford to pay the dealership and towing bill. Which is roughly $2000. Nearest dealership is 150 miles. So that's out of the question. Anyone have a way to fix it?

If you have access to a Nanocom it would be helpful. As you know, NAS P38’s EKA’s were generally 1515. You’ve probably followed the videos on doing it. It does have to be done exactly right. In the Nanocom, you can see if the EKA is enabled or not. Some people un enable it thinking they are doing themselves a favour, but if it’s not enabled, you can’t enter it. Also, there is a situation that I’ve been in a couple of times where you need to wait 20 minutes before you can enter it (I’m not remembering the details).
