Anybody order 2022 SVR Carbon Edition?
 

Placed my order for a 2022 Carbon Edition for April 2022 delivery with my dealer. Was told JLR is not allowing head’s up display or adaptive cruise control anymore. The system would not allow us to spec those options. Anyone have same problem? Find that hard to believe on an SVR. Dealer has reached out to JLR and we’re waiting for a response.

WHOA! No HUD?!? On a $100,000 + car, I'd be pretty disappointed not to get that. I had the adaptive cruise control on my 2018 Lincoln Navigator and didn't really like it, rarely used it so I wouldn't miss that. I'm guessing this has something to do with the chip shortage. I ordered a 2022 Autobiography and added the HUD option, it was just built last week and I haven't heard anything about no HUD. I don't think I added the adaptive cruise control. Do you have an expected build date on your SVR yet?

No build date yet but I have until Oct 27 to make any changes and delivery is April 2022. Interestingly, you can get HUD on a 2022 SVR but not on a 2022 SVR CARBON EDITION. Huh?? Hopefully it’s a system error but I’m also told UK cars no longer have HUD or adaptive cruise options. I have both options on my 2020 now and use them both frequently.
