Frustration...

Hi! I am a new Range Rover Sport (2019 5.0L) owner, and am loving the new ride.

i know that every luxury vehicle brand has its quirks with its media and infotainment systems, but I’ve been struggling with two issues with my new vehicle:

1. I’m listening to XM, minding my own business (well, sort of). I shut off the vehicle, and when I come back the audio source has switched from where I left it (XM) to FM. I have searched high and low to figure out if this is some setting that I can’t find - but it’s incredibly annoying to have to go into the audio submenu to switch back to XM when re-starting. This doesn’t seem to happen all the time, but happens often enough that it’s not coincidental. Any advice?

2. When launching CarPlay, then going into a subitem (messaging, music, phone), I am unable to get back up to the main menu without unlocking my phone and bringing the phone back to the main menu (at which time the in-dash display also changes). Without manipulating via the actual phone, the in-dash is completely locked-out and I can’t do anything other than within whatever submenu I’m in. Again, super frustrating issue.

thanks for any advice!

Hey there!

1. Are you using the same key every time?
2. This might be something to ask the dealer or LR about. Or even Apple. No experience with CP here :/

Land Rover is experiencing tons of issues with the infotainment systems.
If those are your only problems, you are lucky.
They just don't work.
