2" spacers - $50 shipped
I have a set of used spring spacers. They raise the lower coil spring perches 2" farther above the axle. I don't know the effectiive lift, but you should expect at least 1 1/2" to 1 5/8". They will fit a Defender 90, a Range Rover Classic, a Discovery 1, or a Discovery II with coil springs (not air bags).
It's really a poor way to lift, and I don't recommend it. I removed mine to fit a proper lift kit with radius arms, rear links and longer springs and shocks etc. However, the spacers are a less expensive way to fit larger tires which is no doubt why the PO fit them.
A-B sells 1" spacers for $59 a pair. Rovertym sells 2" spacers for $150 a pair. You need two pair to lift the four corners. I will sell my two pair for $50. I will include shipping to the 48 States.
What you get is the four spacers. They are round aluminum bar, cut to 2" and machined with through bolt holes and the front are machined for the shock stud to mount through. They are bolted inbetween the axle and the lower spring perches with the two bolts that hold the spring perch to the axle. I will include the longer bolts needed, but they are zinc-plated steel bolts and not pretty anymore. You can use them, or match Grade 8 replacements at the hardware store.

home made spacer's???
Has anyone had a go at making SPRING LIFT SPACERS, I've seen loads of differant designs but which one do you go for. There are really basic ones that are a bunch of disc's pilled on top of each other and the more rebust ones.
I'll have a go at putting some pictures of the designs I've seen to see what other members think of them.
If anyone has fabbed their own could they share their designs and tell us more about how they handle when fitted

4" round aluminum stock from Onlinemetals.com
You can even specify how thick you want the pieces cut, 1"/2"/etc, which eliminates the need for a band saw. Then you just need to drill two holes through each for mounting bolts.
Easy and cheap. No need for fancy and expensive stuff from ToddCo and RTE.

$50 shipped is not a bad price.
Onlinemetals charges around $30 per 2" puck"... Pluss with these you don't need to drill anything.
1" is a different story... They are about $15 per puck.

Jimmy62alan specifically asked about making spacers so I threw out Onlinemetals.com. You can actually get a 2" cut puck for $12.88 plus shipping.
