I am selling my 2001 Discovery II as I have lost my garage and have no place to work on her anymore.

The Good: She's in good condition, runs well, shifts well. Steering is tight, starts right up, clean interior except for a small wear mark in the carpet. Low miles (about 88K), all electronics work. Tires are good.

The Bad: The check engine light is on due to the O2 sensors. I replaced 1 last week, but dont have the place or time anymore to complete the job. The other 3 come with the car, just throw them in, and reset the computer. The other issue is that there is an antifreeze smell when driving, and it seems to me that it has an intake manifold gasket leak. I dont see any antifreeze or white smoke from the exhaust so I doubt its the head gasket. Also, there is some paint coming off the roof, which looks like was repainted at one point. This is the roof only and the rest of the car does not look repainted at all.

Price: I am negotiable and fair and will consider all realistic offers.

any chance you would be willing to see the cross bars on the roof rack seperate?

 

Yes, they separate just fine. I moved them around this past fall.

I would like to keep the cross members with the car if possible, but i could sell later if no interest in the entire car.

The car does not have any rust. I bought it from a guy some years back who kept it garaged.

The car has no rust.

 

Are you willing to drive a short distance to deliver just over the border into PA?

 

Currently, the cars emissions inspection sticker is expired so I would have to install the rest of the O2 sensors and have it inspected before I would drive it a long distance. If the car doesn't sell in the next week, install them and get it inspected. I'll update the post once this is done.
