You've had a time trying to sell this Rover. I've seen it up on my Clist searches for quite a few weeks and at a good price.

ShadowMerchantBC 03-14-2011 10:18 AM

Yeah the Rovers been on Craigslist, but someone keeps flagging the add every time I list it. Yeah its a dam good Disco despite the work it needs. I've seen worse. Well if your interested make an offer. Or if you have any suggestions for me I'm all ears.

I've had a hard time selling this Rover, and I'm about to get my hands on a more functional 96 Discovery so as of 3/30/2011 I'll drop the asking price down to $1,500 as is and complete with replacement power steering hose, ignition coil, fuel filter, transmission kit, brand new steering damper installed and two service manuals. I have not purchased the replacement driveshaft for the rear so the Rover should be towed. This disco has new shocks and springs, 2" suspension lift kit, hid headlights, new spark plugs, new wires, fresh oil and new oil filter, new air filter and full size spare tire.

What is the issue with the engine?

ShadowMerchantBC 03-21-2011 11:40 PM

Cylinder 6 missfire. Already replaced with spark plugs and wires but still missfires. It's either the ignition coil or the fuel injector. I purchased a new ignition coil but to have a mechanic put it in is between $200-300. Plus the entire engine as well as everything else under the hood is dirty and needs to be cleaned.

If you can arrange shipping this to the Philippines then i may buy it for parts.

Would you be willing to sell the lift kit separately?
