Update. Spoken for by ArmyRover. Thanks.

RI'm tired of fixing it. It runs. 140k. Head gaskets were done about 20k ago. New prop shaft, wheel bearings and drag links. Secondary air needs work, as does the exhaust, it's currently hanging and touching the prop shaft. It's a fully loaded 2000. 3rd row, all stock except the rear air suspension has been replaced by coils. Hurricane wheels with good tires. My name is Pat. The vehicle is in Ann Arbor Michigan. Text or call. 734-301-5213. I'm not kidding. It's free!!! Come get the thing. I'll work on pics.

I'll take it. I will have to arrange shipping. Will it drive onto shipping truck?

It will need a jump start. Be sure that your driver will load it. I'm working out of state and don't want my wife to have to mess with it.

I have been driving pretty nice DI's and DII's for the last ten years and they rarely cost me much more than $500. I have a DII right now that, after selling a few parts off it (SD roof rack, TJM bumper, ect) I was into it for less than $500. I also have an immaculate '95 DI (my personal favorite of the Discovery's) I bought for $500. The owner called asking me to take it away. He even let me use his plates so I could drive it home.

Amazing deals are out there, you just have to be patient.

Paul, if you ever run into super minty parts for a white 95 d1 please let me know. There are a few parts on mine that I'd like to replace

All it will take is one major failure and the one I just got will be on the chopping block. I'll let you know when it joins the list of parts trucks.

Well I got spare fluids, the code scanner, basic tool kit and my AAA paid up, leaving at dawn to go pick it up. I'll post updates on the way back.
