Feeler:2004 Disco II SE 74k, Headjob less than 300mi. ago

Looking to get rid of our 2004 Disco - my wifes car - had it's issues in the past, but running like a top now! Just had headjob done, #4 spark plug wire, passenger side window regulator, 70k service, all service done @ Cape Fear Land Rover where it was purchased certified. Certification just ran out. Bonati Grey, tan leather, SE. Earlier work included Y pipe, head gaskets last year before headjob, have all records since ownership.

Never abused, taken on the beach 4 times in its life for an afternoon out with the family, only offroading it has done since we've owned it. Wife has new job where she has to drive in traffic every morning and would like something smaller with more "pop" - an X3 or something along those lines.

Will be posting pictures, here is one from one of our beach excursions:

A few more pics, will get some better ones posted:

Make an offer! No worries on this engine now!

Argh. That sucks. Hopefully somebody on here with more knowledge than me can chime in with a suggestion. My only thought is the alternator rectifier bridge may have failed and the alternator is draining the battery.
