PROJECT - Beautiful Discovery II '01 For Sale - Needs Engine
 

Sadly, my '01 Discovery II SE needs a new engine. Head issue/Cylinder crack. The car itself is in fantastic condition. This would be a great project for a Discovery enthusiast or someone who wants to buy to part out.

Oslo Blue / Alpaca leather - no tears, rips. The body and interior show minimal wear (see photos). Electrical system works fine. Bumpers, lights, doors - all in great condition. I'm the original owner and this engine lasted to 249,502 miles (mostly highway) - I was hoping to get to 300,000. I really tried to take care of her. Garage kept 99% of the time.

Recent repairs:
- (2) new rear tires - March
- Radiator - March
- Drag Link assembly, Expansion tank, new complete brakes - May
- Front shocks, coils - June
- Watts link bushings - July
- Thermostat - August
- Throttle body plate kit - September

Driver side rear door needs lock actuator. There's only one tiny rust spot on the rear door window frame.

This car has been great and served me well. Selling for $1,500.

I just don't have the facility or know how to part it out myself. The car is currently in the Detroit Metro suburban area. Let me know if you'd like to see more photos.
