Sadly selling my '99 Disco I...

My '99 Discovery Series I looks great, but it needs some TLC. I wish I had the ability & time (or money, it seems to be one or the other) to fix it up, but I don't. I hate to simply trade it into a dealer--I would rather see a LR lover rescue it. I've had it since it was new. It is "Woodcote Green", a rare color (they tell me). It has duel sunroofs, rear jump seats and has 87,000 miles on it.

There are some nagging things wrong with it. The ABS light is often on: my mechanic says some speed sensors need to be replaced. It runs hot: he says it needs a fan clutch and new auxiliary fans. The power steering system is leaking: not sure if that's serious or not. Two power windows don't work. The rear sunroof sometimes leaks.

On the plus side, its a beautiful truck. I've taken good care of it. The interior is in great shape (except for the headliner, which sags in places), it has new brakes last spring, and new tires last fall.

I'm having trouble adding a picture here, but I posted some on my website:

KBB says it is worth between $6100 and $7400. I would sell it for $5000 since it needs some work. I live in Florida.
