Looking to borrow a coil/air SLABS programmer, NYC area
I still have rear air suspension on my '99 D2, and I have installed the D1 CDL shifter. I picked up a SLABS unit from a 2004 model but it must be set for rear coils because the air deflates when I lock the CDL and I can't reinflate it.
Does anyone in the NYC area have a programmer that will let me change that setting? I can come to you if it's within a sensible distance. |
Lucky8?, not sure how far they are from you.
|
They're about 400 miles away...
I was hoping for a teeeeny bit closer! |
lol yeah wrong side of the state
|
Well, as a bonus... at least I got the right state!
|
Did you ever find someone to help you out? I have a Hawkeye I could send you. You should be able to take care of the programming.
|
Didn't find anyone yet. A loaner would be amazing, and would mean that I wouldn't have to deal with switching out the SLABS units somewhere else.
I could also take a road trip up your way sometime. |
I sent you a PM.

The very generous Paul Grant allowed me the use of his HawkEye, which let me change the setting from coils to air springs.
However, because this SLABS has apparently never been used for sir springs it's not calibrated and the HawkEye can't do that. So I'm still looking for someone with a Nanocom. Supposedly that will allow me to do the rear suspension calibration. |
