WTB: D1 Lockers, LSD, HD CVs and Axles
Im looking to upgrade my 96 D1 with a rear locker, front Limited slip, heavy duty CVs and half shafts, heavy duty rear axles, and heavy duty ring and pinion with a 4.3-4.75:1 ratio. If anybody has one that they're parting out let me know. I'd be interested in buying any of the parts listed, preferably used but I'd buy new if the price was reasonable. I'm in North Alabama. I've also got a 95 D1 that's running and driving that I bought for parts so if you need anything off it I'd be willing to trade including engine, trans, transfer case, axles etc.

I have GBR 4.75's in my D2 that I would swap for 4.10's or 3.8's. They were in it when I bought it and I get too much highway time for those gears.

Factory 3.54 gears
I've got several sets of the factory 3.54 ring and pinions if that would interest you but I'm not positive that they're compatible with each other. Maybe someone else here could confirm. Where are you at longshot?

Wow I couldn’t be much further from you. I’m in Huntsville, AL. Not sure how much it’d cost to ship. Not sure if you’d want to trade whole third members or just gears. Mine is just an occasional toy so time isn’t important but if you daily drive yours, you might rather just receive mine, trade third members and send yours to me. That would keep us from having to re-do the gear setup. I’ll PM my phone number if you want to call and discuss it further. |
