Just finished watching a movie out of the UK called "Hollow" it's not on IMDB and it was at Tribeca this year. It was a horror movie that I got OnDemand from my cable company and it's the only movie I have seen where the failure of a Land Rover Discovery 1 led to the direct death of everyone in the movie.

 

This made me laugh out loud haha. Thanks for sharing!

 

There are actually a ton of tv series and movies featuring Land Rovers..

 

no no no.... im not talking about you could get a peek of one. I'm saying this Tdi Disco 1 drove a group of friends into the middle of nowhere, then broke down and they were all murdered. It was a MAJOR part of the movie. If it wasn't for the problem which i was yelling at the screen trying to tell them how to diagnose the problem, they wouldn't have died.

The main character drives a 110 and it is a great flick.
Had my wife and I on the edge of our seats for 95% of it.

 

I was just gonna mentioned troll hunter to! Loved that movie! Wasnt bad like I thought it would be and that Defender kicked some serious Troll ***

Hilltopper thats funny as hell about the D1 breaking down and them all getting murdered - like as to say its the D1's fault! lol Gotta love our Disco's

 

The Fourth Kind which came out in 2012 also has a nice Disco in it. Forgot if it was a D1 or D2 thought. Great film about Aliens though and the lead actress from the Resident Evil films stars so you should all watch it.

 

I just saw that movie haha! It caught my eye when I was flipping through NetFlix just because the cover pic had a Defender on it. Turned out to be a good movie and a kickass Defender.
