kids

So yesterday after work my wife and I were sitting in the back yard drinking iced tea and the kids were playing in the back yard.
Well our 19 month old son went into the garage and grabbed one of my hubcaps from my hubcap collection.
He procceded to try and put it on his big sisters bike, it wouldnt fit, so he took it out to the truck.
Again it wouldnt fit because these big things were in the way.
So then he set the hubcap down and took his hands and started to try and remove the lug nuts from the truck so the hub cap from a Nash Rambler would fit!!
Funny stuff.

That funny. Kids are great entertainment. Even better when they're someone else's kids so you can send them home when they get cranky.

What is this iced tea you refer too?? Down here we have sweet tea or unsweet tea, we just assume it comes with ice. ;)

Actually it was sun tea, I dont know how yous guys make your tea, we put the water and tea bags in a glass jar, screw on the lid and set it in the sun for a few hours, remove the bags and chill it, add ice (smart ass) and it is um um good.

Camdisco24 06-30-2009 08:41 PM

We add tea bags to water, bring it to a boil, take it off the eye, let it cool a bit, add tea to a pitcher and stir in sugar to taste, most like it reeeal sweet. If the water is not warm-hot, the sugar will go to the bottom and make the tea bland on top and way sweet on bottom. Serve warm over ice, add some lemons if you want and you have southern sweet tea!

Its funny how tea varies across the US, if you say Iced tea in the south, they'll look at you funny and ask if you want it sweet or unsweet. When I was up in NY once I ordered sweet tea and our waitress told me there was sugar on the table.

I cannot stand sweet tea, tastes like crap.
Sun tea rocks, we drink alot of it.

I've had sun tea, to bland... Once your used to sweet tea its hard to adjust to any other type of tea. To me gross tea is that Lipton fakey sweet tea or Brisk... blah now thats nasty.

Tea without sugar is just dirty water.
