You'll be fine as long as you have a shop nearby that can service them for you. Not a real hard vehicle, but parts take a while to get by shippers, and the costs double on parts at local parts...

Adjust it up just like drum brakes. I redid shoes, left the brake off, pulled rotors, replace, adjust to rotor drums just like drum brakes , reassembled and been working good for 5000 miles now.

Most aftermarket badges come from China and quality is moot. I only know of stock OEM in Gold on Green or Silver on Green. Some Ford badges will fit but that would be a joke.

Just replace my brakes, did not do anything to electronics, just did not turn them on. Was amazed that the electronic brake liners were good, compared to the stories I heard of others at 60K miles.

I just made a mount at bottom of the guard for the plate. A couple pieces banded steel and wrapped around bar and bolted in place. No pics, don't have D1 anymore.
