You want to make sure there is no air in there...

You want to make sure there is no air in there before the power bleed I would suspect. So manual 1st to get raid of any air then power. But this is just a guess.

That is good to know, I bought at the upper end myself and other than a windshield leak at the top corners it has run perfectly, other than old bits like clamps failing, and few intake hose issues...

The problem you have is your truck is cooling inconsistently, assuming you have a standard 190 thermostat in there then your temps will be in the normal range. But jump and drops of 10 deg are not...

I have found 91 seems to be the best choice, ate the cost of a 6 tanks of 94 and fuel mileage was not enough improved to warrant the cost.

The problem with fuel for these is the definition of premium, North America and Europe use a different method. The handbook says 95 octane - BUT that is based on the European method, it works out...

When I need to remove the valve cover it is gone, no other way on my 04, Now I just give it a squirt of carb cleaner once a month as long as it drains fast I know it is good.

If that thing is clogged you also use way more...

If that thing is clogged you also use way more oil. Carb cleaner down the hole will clear it, while the engine is warm is best and it took abut 6 applications on mine to get it clear.
