Quick reminder about code P0455 for internet posterity

Code popped up the other day. Immediately ordered a replacement purge valve because it's cheap and the internet says that's usually the fix. It'll arrive next week.

To me...it sounds like the original poster overfilled his brake reservoir, and when the fluid got hot and expanded...it had no where to go...causing the brake to not release. There is a max line on...

Yes, brake booster indicates you have a vacuum...

Yes, brake booster indicates you have a vacuum leak somewhere. You can hook up a shop vac to the intake pipe and it will whistle at the leak.

Manifold Ben, the Y pipe if torqued down correctly should not leak. Exhaust manifolds on everything start to leak as the gaskets wear and stuff gets loose
