RE: 22" Alloys.

I've seen plenty of '03 - '05 Ranges with 22" wheels, wouldn't really consider going any bigger though. The 285/35-22 should be a pretty good fit. That tire has a slightly greater section width than...

RE: Front Diff Recall?

I was told by my dealership yesterday that it is definitely in the works. The releases will be staggered, but should see some kind of activity in the next couple of months. They will also be...

RE: brake issues with my 97 rover !!

My only thoughts are that maybe you've got a proportioning valve issue. It's probably time for you to consult a local professional on this problem.

RE: crazy rangie prices

Prices are all over the place right now, maybe due partially to gas prices. At that mileage you're going to find them on the low end because they're about to go out of warranty, (50k miles). If...

RE: Range Rover with issues...Worth?

Might be worth about $1k, maybe more if you're willing to part it out.

RE: Tires for RR 04

The 255/60-18 posted on the site you linked would definitely be a safe size, very close to stock. Youmight even be safe to go as far as a 265/60-18, which seems to offer a little more selection. Any...

RE: Tires for RR 04

I dont know for a fact but I suspect those would rub, at least in the front, especially with the EAS let down. The 285/60-18 is both taller & wider than the stock tire. How did you end up with 18"...

RE: Info

Just my opinion, but if this is going to be your primary transportation, I'd recommend finding a good deal on a certified 2004 - 2006 HSE, (or one that's available with an extended warranty as a...

RE: 2004 Service Codes

If you wore your brake pads down to the point that the indicator light came on it means you also wore through the tips on the sensors. You have to replace the sensors when you replace the pads.

RE: Hot Floorboard?

May have lost a heat shield or have a hairline crack in a muffler weld or seam. Got to be something exhaust related.

RE: Both blower motors stopped working?!?!

As a rule the handbook symbol is representative of any of a number of faults in the climate control system, as you're probably aware: low or no freon, failed inside or outside temp sensors, failed...

RE: 1995-2001 RR ARE STILL THE BEST

Not taking anything from the Jag engines, but the BMW 4.4 is as just about as good as it gets.

RE: Subwoofer Options for '04 HSE

Sub definitely is working, just more subdued than what I've had in the past. I'm not finding any adjustments for it in the tone control screen, just treble, bass, fade, balance; doesn't seem to be...

RE: Subwoofer Options for '04 HSE

Sadly, you're correct, it's there. Bass is pretty subdued, didn't even realize I had a sub. Guess the next question is, what are folks doing to enhance bass output without adding big obtrusive...

RE: Gas

You could probably save a few bucks by filling up with a half tank of plus (89) and a half tank of super (93) and still be within the 91 octane guideline.

Subwoofer Options for '04 HSE

I have a sales brochure for the '03 RR and it seems there was a factory subwoofer option available. As I don't have the '04 literature I'm not sure if it was still available this year. I want to put...

RE: New to Land Rovers.. quick question

Same advice I would give to anyone buying their first used Rover...

You can buy the older ones for a pretty reasonable initial cost. Here's the problem; they're very costly to maintain. Unless...

RE: Help a newbie get in a range rover :)

Personally I'd probably avoid both. The 1991 islikely the lesser of the two evils; has coil spring suspension, so no EAS related worries. Either would probably be an okay weekend project vehicle if...

RE: Vibration 95 LWB Classic

Just a semi-educated guess, but I suppose I'd start by checking out the front CV joints and maybe even the transfer case.

RE: Help with purchasing a new RR s/c

Dealership would likely put any rims you want on it, for a price of course.
