Took it to the dealer. Took about 3 hours to find the issue, but they "repositioned the main skid plate" and that fixed it. Not hard to do. I figured I would get charged at least the min diagnosis...

Is the front diff fluid capacity really only 0.64 quarts on a 2006 LR3!? I just replaced mine with a remanufactured and I just want to make sure. It doesnt seem like a whole lot.

Thanks again unseenone, I do have a manual, but doesn't exactly instruct you how to pull the halfshafts out. It just states to "release the halfshaft". Someone else was saying to tap it with a mallet...

No change with new shaft, didn't need to replace it. Think I was misdirected in another post. I swapped tires, nothing. Jacked up the rear and didn't feel any play in either rear wheel at all.
