The ugly never bothered me, it was the rust.
But, oh well, it's not worth doing.
I have read alot more on ceramic and catalytic converters, and they don't work well together.

That's more of a curing temperature for it than a sustained one.

Ceramic coat Does insulate, does not burn off, and is baked on and applied the same as powder coat.
