If thats good then replace the master cylinder but do not buy a aftermarket one, you must use a Land Rover branded one, if not you will have problems...

Higher temps? What? They all run at the same temp and I would say the 4.6 runs alittle cooler because it has a oil cooler, which the other DII's do not have.

It needs to be re-calibrated, thats what the "C" means. You have to drive in a tight circle 2 or 3 times.
You will also need to re-set your HVAC to Fahrenheit too if you are in the US.

Once the engine is running it will not leak out because it will be sucking it in through the supply line.
You can plug the return line...

Here is the way I do it...remove the return line from the bottom of the power steering reservoir and stick it into a empty clear gallon (3.2L for you) jug, like a windshield washer solvent bottle....
