Replaced my starter, been putting it off thinking it would be harder than it was, must have taken all of 20 minutes and I didn't need to remove heat shield. Longest part was taking the 'new' battery back to the store to get replaced as it had lost all cranking amps completely. New battery in, new starter, turned the key after sitting dead in driveway for months, boom, just like new! Kind of, still have a rough idle and P0300/P0301 codes....😒

Plugging away at a steering, suspension and brake job

New steering box. Mine leaks out the bottom
pas lines
pas pump
stainless steel +2 brake lines
new abs hard lines for front left cause I accidentally drilled a bit through one of them...
rotors
brake pads
probably new calipers but I am going to inspect the pistons first
rims, tires
Steering column u joints
adjustsble pan hard
damper
track rod and drag link
sway bar disconnects
tf +3 lift
shock towers
isolators
Probably missing something

probably missing something. Engine rebuild is still pending as well. Just need to put to plenum back on. This is going to be a glorious first start up.

Started out with something simple and changed the oil. Switched over to Rotella Synthetic per forum recommendations. Thanks guys.

Finally got rid of my 4 amigos the other day. They've been on since my right rear hub went tango uniform and puked grease all over. Replaced that a couple weeks back. Then took advantage of a couple 60 degree days here earlier this week to finally put on the new M/C I've had kicking around my garage for 2 years, bled the bastards, and reset the system... knock on wood, so far so good.

I also got to finally test out the replacement grommets for the M/C reservoir that I sourced from Oz:
https://www.powerbrakes.com.au/shop/...9e18/offset/0?

I think they were under $20 after the conversion, but shipping is spendy from down under, so I ordered two sets to bring the landed cost down a tad.

Not a day too soon either, as some freezing fog settled in on Wednesday night and turned much of the Denver metro area into a skating rink. Nice to have ABS again!

@ CMustard. There is no forum recommendation for Rotella Synthetic. The forum generally recommends the T4 15w40 non synthetic, non blend. But good luck! let us know how that goes for you.
