Here is my 2000 with 03-04 headlights, finishers and grill. The bumper is the stock 2000. There was a gap between the grill and the bumper , so I used a strip of aluminum and painted it black. I think I will anodize it black though becouse the paint is coming off. I think it was worth the time and money to do the swap. It did take a little wiring and sheetmetal cutting to fit the new lights. They put out more light than the old lights. I spent alot of time researching and collecting all the parts and toolsprior to doing the swap. Once you cut the sheetmetal there is no going back to the old lights, you are commited to finish so you better have everything ready, especially if its your only vehical. The swap took about 5 hours to do. I cut the metal with a 4 inch grinder with a cut off wheel. and a die grinder with a cut off wheel. Sounds scary but it was pretty easy, your only cutting metal behind the light because it is deeper then the old light.Wiring is pretty easy, the new and old plugs dont match so you have to cut the plugs off the vehical side and splice wires about a foot long and connect to the new light. Go for it!!

Very nice it looks clean.

Has anyone ever seen or bought this conversion instruction from eBay?

Did you remove the headlight washers or did yours not come with them?

That's a cool mod. I'd love to do that at some point but I've got routine maintenance crap I have to take care of before I can even think about upgrades.

What the smart thing to do would be to split up the cost of the CD and for someone to buy it and upload it to rapidshare or something so everyone on the forum could access it! You can use winrar to split up a big file into multiple 100mb parts.

There are a few people on here that have it and distrubite it for free.
The instructions for it were free to begin with, and someone on here gave them to a guy who asked for them... Few days later that same guy was selling what he got for free on EBAY for 50 bucks. DONT BUY IT!
Its just a simple download, let me know if you guys need and I will try and remember who has it!

Would a bodyshop be able to replace the lights after a front end accident ???, or does the modification of a pre 2003 D2 renders this critical. I'm somewhat interested in doing this myself, but since its not a simple bolt-on mod, lifeexperience has me wondering about the long run eventualities of shuch a conversion.
