This (low-speed) drivetrain clunk has come up before. it seems to be normal behavior. I wouldn't worry about it.

These are pretty basic brackets that were fabricated to use the middle row center seats mounting holes to mount the Ancra L track used as a fridge hold down. I did not take pics of the track...

You may want to check with your dealer to see if this can be fixed under warranty. It should not be rusting that way.
Out of warranty, but this makes for a fun weekend project.

Doesn't seem to be a problem with new ones, probably because the seals are new.
I wonder if this is more so an issue with older clutches which are susceptible to this sort of leakage? I've not run into this problem before. I guess I'll look into a Hayden clutch and Dohrman...
