Default What I saw while at work today

I work outside and get to see a lot of different vehicles as I make my way around town. Today I came across this baby. In a town this size....80,000, I was pretty surprised to see it. Not only that but I wasn't aware that they could be purchased in the USA. Oh well.... I drooled a bit, took these pics, then went on my way.

You can import them like mine and the 110 was offered for one year only 1993. The 90 was offered in 94, 95, and 97.

Nice! Must have been the day for seeing things we don't typically see because I passed an old Series Pick-up Truck on the road today (small town too) and was VERY surprised! It was green and in great condition. I drooled the entire way past it :-)

People drop a ton of money into updating their 25 year old 110. Some even go as far as vin swapping to save time and money.

Ok, I know that I'm having a conversation with myself (as this is a Defender conversation and I'm squeaking about Series trucks) but this is what I saw. It has passed me 3 times now on the road so under further inspection have realized that it's not a 'pick-up'. It's an old Series though :-) And lo and behold it's on Craigslist... If I had the mechanical ability and the $$$ I'd buy it.

If you can keep that Disco going you can keep a series or defender going no problem. They are dead simple.
