Default Disco 1 fuel leak issue

I'm sorry if this is posted somewhere else but I am new to this forum and couldn't find the right thing. I was driving my 97 Disco suddenly smelled fuel. Pulled over and there was a trail of fuel but it stopped after the engine was shut off. Also, when it is starting it has a bit of a hesitation at first. Any ideas? Fuel pump? Thank you.

If its coming from the rear then likely to be a hose on the fittings to the pump, they crack with age.
