Default Manual Seats Swap

I've been looking, but unable to find anything solid on this. I'm looking to get rid of my electric seats for some manual seats.

I know I can get some TD5 seats, but I'm not wanting to pay for the shipping from the UK for them. Are there any other seats that are compatible with the Disco 2?

Thank for the help!

I hate electric seats. They always take too long, especially since I'm short and my wife is super tall...

I agree on the slow part. I'm wanting to switch since I'm going to be traveling in it, and don't want to have any issues when I leave. Plus my sleeping platform requires me to move the seat every night, and that's going to get old.

You'll have to cut her down to size eh ..... the leggy blond syndrome eh

All/some low spec D2's have manual seats, personally I prefer electric, but try PM Paul Grant or Abran Abeyta as they break Landrovers for spares.

I'll reach out to them to see what they have.

I may just end up ordering some used ones from the UK.

No dice on seats locally.

Now I'll be looking in the UK for these.

You could get any style of racing/aftermarket seats and modify the brackets to fit.

I thought about that. The only experience that I have is with the Corbeau Baja seats, and I doubt my wife will let me spend $500+ per seat.

I just came across some D2 manually seats locally! The seats are in good condition, and come with everything I need to install. I was just about ready to buy them when my wife asked if it would be possible to install armrests on them.

Looks like I have even more research to do before I pull the trigger on them. I'm now starting to wonder if it's possible to swap our leather cushions, heaters, and armrests to the manual seat frames? I'm sure this is possible, and would most likely take some fabricating. Does anyone know if this has been done?

What I really need to find out is if the manual seat frames are the same as the electric seat frames. I know the mounting base is the same, and that'll bolt right in with no issues.

I'm hoping that I can simply put our leather bottom, and leather back onto the other frame. I'm trying to find some good pictures of the bare frames to compare them, but I'm thinking it's doable.
