Default New treads - BFG AT KO2

Just had a new set of the BFG All Terrain KO2's installed. After weeks of research, pouring over reviews, and reading countless opinions on tire and rim combo's, I simply decided to stay with my current 18" wheels and the original 255/55 - 18 tire size.

It completely changed the way the truck rides and looks. I have been running these tires on my F250 for years, and finally got around to putting them on the Rover. I replaced a pretty well worn set of Bridgestone Alenza tires. The truck rides much smoother, turns better, and tracks better. I really love these tires. It also completely changes the look of the Rover. It looks much more like an all purpose vehicle than a grocery getter. All things considered, I'm very happy with them.

I like those. I also run 255/55 18's but I have Pirelli Scorpions. Got 10 months on them, great street tire but I'm taking the Disco over later this year and doing a lift and big boy tires. :-)

Nice job!

Looks good. Clean truck!

Now venture into the pine barrens and put those new BFG's to work!

Looks good. I've never seen a Disco 2 without the roof rails.

I have run Wranglers, Duratracs and Toyo Open Country AT2+. The KO2s are by far the best suited for a combination on on-road and off-road driving.

I run 275/65R18s with a 2" lift.

It has black plugs where the roof rails would be. At some point I'd like to add the roof rails.

Default question

I am looking for tires as well. Love the looks of these. Why did you not go with bigger tires? I wanted bigger.
