Sometimes you just have to pony up and buy new. That's especially the case when it comes to bumper parts on these trucks. Come on. You have an '04 that's going to fail inspection because you can't/won't spend $100 on a part? There comes a time when you have to ask yourself if you can really afford the vehicle you drive.

What, PoncePR, did you got back and read the thread and realize you needed to edit your comment?

No one said anything about a $100 bumper. It's more about complaining about having to spend about $100 to pass an inspection. From what I could find, a brand new end cap complete with the cut out for a fog light can be bought new for about $87. That's about what it costs to fill a DII up with premium gas. If someone is bitching about a part than can be had for the cost of a fill up, their driving the wrong vehicle.

Yes, I posted with out reading the thread from the begining.....like always. My bumper got shredded by the snow. If I replace it....IF.... it wont be plastic again, but right now IDC.....its a 12 year old(dd) beater.
