From what I understand Bill still makes the product in his own shop for RTE, like a subcontractor basically. From what I heard Bill's son Travis was starting to make products for trucks out of Bill's shop and RTE put the kibosh to that pretty quick.

I've told him to call RTE and see what they have to say.

Bill has been the sole owner until last yr when he had a investor help him. As I understand it Bill runs the weld side but I may be wrong, I have not spoke to him in awhile. I will say the product quality - I have bought from them and their installation of my lift were outstanding 2yrs ago. I do not think BritPArt bought them...or is the investor, but I have not confirmed this either...

Ryan Marr now owns/co-owns the business. Bill still does the welding/etc. Bill likely made those adapters, as he made mine last year and they were somewhat similar.

Kind of correct. This is what I think I know:
Bill sold RTE and is working for the new owners to bring them up to speed on how to make the producets. It gets complicated because RTE's new owners live in NJ. From what I understand, the new owners make some stuff in NJ, but mostly small stuff and Bill still handles the hard stuff from NC.
I can tell you one thing: Looking at those welds, they are not from Bill. All the years and all the product we received from RTE when Bill owned it, nothing ever looked like that.
