Wink Freelander strong vibration,please help!

I have a 2002 freelander, when I bought it a year ago, the truck locked-up on the freeway, all wheels were completely locked. The mechanic shop said that the transfer case was the problem and they fixed it. But now it's vibrating a lot when it gets warmed-up and it feels like the vibrations is coming from the transfer case. Has anybody experience anything like this? is locking-up a common problem with land rovers?any comments will be apreciated.
