Thumbs up 04 RR-HSE Driver Seat Problem.

I was wondering if any of you have ever dealt with this problem of having your Driver Seat not work, when it comes to adjusting to a certain height, angle, or moving back and forth? I noticed it about a week ago, but wasn't too sure what to think of it. The actual part that allows me to adjust the comfort settings on the lower back portion works fine, it's just that other components that are not responding? I'm not sure whether there's a seperate computer that controls the seat, or if its it one of the three small electrical motors that happens to be acting up, or all three of them? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks once again.

Possible blown fuse for the d/s seat motors. typically a wire in the harness that runs up to the seat recline motor shorts on the seat frame. if this is the case the seat has to come out and the seat back needs to be seperated from the base. the seat cover needs to be partially removed and the wiring repaired. It's kind of a pain unless you've done a few or more, then it's still a pain. The lumbar adjustment I believe is on a seperate circuit.

I'll look into the fuse, and hopefully that resolves the issue, because I had a chance to look under the seat, and it looks like quite a headache just trying to remove the motors from below the D/S, if not removing the entire seat. Thanks for the reply and info. Good looking out.

Well, I was able to check the fuses and they appear to be in good condition. Those fuses that control the D/S also are connected and help operate the Control Tilt on the steering wheel, which is not working now. I guessing that might be the small motors that are located inside where the steeing wheel is at?Either way, my D/S is working back to normal, with a minor exception of not allowing the Memory Switch to store the settings for the three different positions it allows it to store. So i'm not too sure what to make of that besides, think it might have something to do with one of the three small motors located underneat the D/S?Thanks for the help and advice. Greatly appreciated.
