Default Bumpers, Skid Plate and Rock Sliders

I have a 2001 Disco II that I bought a little over two years ago. I immediately pulled off the soccer mom running boards, put on all new BFG A/Ts and an Old Man Emu 2" Lift. Sadly,I haven't had the time or money to continue with my plans for the Disco.... until NOW!!

I took advantage of HiCountry Offroad's recent 40% off sale and now have the following items en route...

Winch mount front bumper with full brush bar and low profile light bar
Front skid plate for steering protection
Rear bumper with cut-outs for factory turn signals
Rock sliders

With the new bumper going on, I'll have to upgrade my front springs from the OME medium duty to HD. I'm getting super excited about getting everything installed! So here's the before pics...

can't wait to see your upgrades. I'm sure folks at the Discovery section would love to see this post.

The sale only lasted a very short time, June 27th through July 7th.

Today my first box of goodies for the project showed up! Got these for a really good sale price from Sterling Autosport in Murrieta, CA. Anxiously waiting for the stuff from HiCountry to arrive now....

HiCountry ended up moving it's facility from Colorado to Tennessee, and my order fell right in the middle of that move, buuuuuuuuut... today I got my FedEx notification that the parts are finally en route! Once they arrive and I start doing the installs, I'll post pics and stuff in the Disco Section of the forum.

SO EXCITED!

Will you be installing a winch, if so what coils will you use in the front, what do you currently have in the rear?

Mike,

No winch yet, but I plan on getting one eventually...

I currently have the 781s in the rear, and 777s in the front. I ordered up a pair of 779s to swap out on the front and they arrived today. I plan on swapping those in once I get the bumper installed.

I haven't ordered anything for the rear yet. I am hoping the 781s will suffice...

How many lights are in that box? Are you going to run 6 aux lights?

One light per box. I plan on running three across the a-bar of the winch mount bumper.

Oh yeah sorry - I forgot that the 4000'2 come individual instead of in sets. That should look good, you will have to put up a picture.
