Hey will this fit my 2000 Disco? Is this the driveshaft upgrade that everyone on the forum says you should do immediately after buying a Disco?

Thanks!

I'm not positive if this will interchange. I know this will fit 03 - 04, but Disco Mike can tell you if it's interchangeable.

Yes, when people refer to upgrading the driveshaft, they are referring to checking and replacing the u-joints in the front shaft to prevent it from failing. Due to the position of the front yoke on the transfer case, if the driveshaft fails, it will smack into the transmission fluid pan and potentially cause a massive leak, leading to immediate failure.
