Depends. Was it just leaking? Does it have mechanical damage? What condition? Normally a good used gear box that just needs a re-seal can go for up to $100.

You can find used power steering gearbox's on ebay and other sites selling for around $200-$400 (low miles and no leaks complete with control arm).

Like I said before, I have a newer low miles gearbox with no leaks, already removed and complete with control arm and lower u-joint. Make an offer? Also willing to throw in the entire steering shaft and upper u-joint for right price. Again note that this gearbox only has 95K and has no damage or leaks.

So you'll pay me $100 for a box that, aside from leaking, functions properly?

Nope I personally will not buy it as Im parting out my own disco. Just giving you an idea how much these gear boxes are worth. Seeing how your gearbox leaks you MAY be able to make around $100 by selling it. If it did not leak at all and worked properly then you can expect $300 ish depending on the miles and such.

As for me, Im looking to SELL my current gearbox to LRD2&ME if hes interested.

Most often your used gear box is only worth the core charge your willing to pay. All used gear box's require rebuild kits and functional inspections for damage. I normally will pay $100 - $120 which includes shipping.

I have plenty of boxes with pitman arms that worked fine but leaked so I won't resell them to my customers. If you are willing to pay between $100 and $120 per box how many do you want and how to you work out your payment?
