Wrapping up the 120k service. We've pecked away at the list over the last month. Nothing exceptional about that by itself, but the fun part has been that I've used the 120k service as an opportunity to teach auto maintenance to our 16-yr old son who now drives Redrover to school daily. He did the oil change all by himself Wednesday.

I dropped my oil pan this weekend and cleaned up my pick up line.

sat i added +2" britpart SS brake lines and did a (one quart) brake fluid flush (mike, dont yell at me). I planned on getting a camel cut and relocating my axel breathers done on sunday, but it snowed and it was cold, so i took tin snips to my rear QP's and called it a day. they look like ****, but they did before too when they were all bent up from my tires smashing into them

Scored a T-Case/Linkage out of an '04 (Schwing!), got a rebuilt prop-shaft in from Columbia Rovers.....so I didn't get anything done...except spend money.

EDIT : Prop-shaft is installed and now she's rolling silky smooth

Well, I figured I'd jump in here- over the last couple weekends, I've replaced the gear oil in my transfer case with 85w140, which really seemed to quiet things down; same oil in the diffs too- went in the water in Charleau Gap, so I figured it couldn't hurt to change it. Also had a buddy fix some broken welds on my roof rack and re-mounted (bulletproof now); flushed and bled the brakes (so much conversation on that in here- I use a mason jar and a piece of tubing and it works like a charm); changed the oil & filter, installed a new to me rear sway bar (thx Paul)- it was great off road with none, but a little tippy in the corners on the street before; dropped in a new Optima yellow-top. Tomorrow is a new set of plugs and my new set of 8mm Kingsborne wires. next on the list is to pull my wiper washer pumps and try to get them working again, and replace the tubing; then start pulling my rear door apart to find out why the window won't move (switches work when I swap them around, and I could find no broken solder joints on the ECU). AZ Land Rover Rally is in a little over 2 mos- gotta be ready!

Thanks brother. I didn't end up doing it. Got caught up with the engine mounts. Those things are a pain in the left testicle. Found the cause of my vibration though. Stupid engine mounts.

And did some KB spark plug wires.
