Default Who's going to Uwharrie Safari 2011 this weekend??

I can't wait! It's gonna be a great outing this year.
Anyone else on here planning to go?

Everyone who can't make it, I will be sure to take tons a pics and videos. Hope to see a few of you all out there!

Wish I could be, I gotta work though (almost makes me wanna quit now that I finally got my Disco finished) and thanks for alerting me to Uwharrie I hadn't even heard of this place before. Enjoy it

No problem! Maybe next year you can head out. If you ever want to get a group together, just post on here and I'm sure a few guys would love to meet up to do some trail riding.

Dude I want more than anything to be there and test my new tires and lift, but I can't afford the gas let alone the registration

It was $35 (plus $10 for BBQ dinner) when I registered a couple weeks ago. Idk if its more now that the deadline has passed for online registration... Gas is really killer right now, and you have much longer to drive Tweak... It would be pretty dang expensive.

Of course right now, the way the government is talking Uwharrie might not even be open this weekend...

Even if I could go my wide is about to pop out another kid so that's a bit far to be away if I got to get to the hospital.

haha, and the fact that your phone wouldn't work out there would make it worse. We'll have to get a group together down the road so Uwharrie trips aren't just yearly. Congrats on the kid on the way!

well they have 3 rover uwharrie events that I know of plus random trail cleanup/work days.

Yeah, I might try to go to the fall one this year if the date works. Thats always a really busy time for me though.
