Default No Resonator? Let's hear it! Post a clip

I'm thinking of chopping off my resonator to achieve a little more air flow and a touch of growl. However a quick search shows a split opinion about wheither it's a nice throaty rumble or an annoying drone. Love to know what folks think who've tried it.

I cut mine of 3 or 4 years ago to make room for a new rear bumper, love the slight throaty sound at an idle.

You want sound, get the Borla exhaust system. Best $800 I spent on my Rover. Sounds excellent is solid T-304 stainless steel (not coated) and has aMillion Mile warranty. Goto www.borla.com for more info.

I have a cracked LH exhaust manifold that has been patched. The truck is cold. I am getting new manifolds and cats this weekend.

I just cut the resonator off and turned it down under the truck. I am going to have a good tip installed when I get my cats done.

Enjoy

Cutting off the resonator was worth every penny, UPS, I didn't have to spend a thing, certainly works for me, maybe there was no horse power gain, but for the most part, there isn't with a Borla except out on te road at highway speeds and even then I think it is hard to justify.
