2002 P38 Range Rover HSE | Engine Issues
For Sale2002 Land Rover Range Rover
Description:
Up for sale is my beloved 2002 Range Rover, aka “Remy”, in the final year model of the 2nd generation.
NOTE: Sadly it is currently suffering from some engine misfiring, but technically runs. It just had a recent service to try to remedy it - installed 8 new fuel injectors, new spark plugs, new ignition coils, and new ignition wires, but no luck..
If anyone wants to try their luck, it’s still a beautiful car to own and is a beast off-road, as it’s the only other SUV other than Jeeps to have solid axles front & rear. Off-roading was an occasional hobby, but mostly was a daily driver.
The other major issue is cosmetic, and happened while off-roading and hit a large rock on the front right corner, destroying the foglight, some of the bumper, the windshield washer reservoir, bent the frame a little, and threw off the steering wheel alignment (but still drives straight)
One other issue is that there was a coolant leak in the heater core, and was cheaper to remove instead of replace (no heat)
