We purchased from Land Rover Marin Luxury cars in 2016
2nd owner (purchased from sam dealer)
We’ve averaged about 6,600 miler per year since owning - mostly long trips - not used as a commuter car
Open to any mechanical inspection - also feel free to call the mechanic who does everything for us
What we love
The 7 seats are going to be sorely missed. They fit full size adults and were barely used until our daughter discovered them
Huge cargo space - just amazing
Fantastic in the snow and ice
Everything is quality - the trim and materials, the AC is freezing, the heated seats and steering wheel are amazing
We just starting using the air suspension this last year for access to the roof for a paddle board and this makes a massive difference - can access from remote
Rugged but very luxurious - new Defender is less luxurious / new Discovery is too luxurious and not rugged (for us anyway)
Light from the glass roof and 3 moon roofs
Very powerful and smooth
Drives exceptionally well - this has been better than any other LR4 I’ve been in and the v8 makes it a better drive than the new Discovery in my mind
Looks amazing and drives amazing
Notes:
Interior in really great shape
Extremely well serviced - with receipts (over $7k spent this year on a new head gasket and oil gasket)
Air suspension works fine
and does not drop overnight
We added a module so you can stream music from your phone vs. plugging in
Super smooth on long trips and great in the snow
Air is super cold, heated seats and heated steering wheel are amazing
Overpriced detailing just completed today

Were the belts changed?
Yes - belts and tensioners at 105,909
Was the chain changed?
No - I believe it was checked but not changed out. My understanding (which hands-up - could be wrong) is that if you maintain it - it's not necessary.
When were the brakes done:
101,661 - rear
112,318 - front
* I am getting a smog done on 12/12/23 and will get a brake inspection done
Does it have rear DVD/screens?
No
Gas mileage
Terrible, awful and don't get one if you want great MPG
Does it have a locking rear diff
No - it's open (great question). I was given a great resource - vindecoderz.com where you can look up the specs from the VIN
