20" Style 5095 - all black or Satin??
Hi All,
I have an order on the XS version (UK) and I want 20"s due to the offroad tyres I can order. I will go with an all black look (which I know will need to paint bumpers and badges), but not sure I like the 5095 wheels. I prefer the upgradable ones, but if I am painting them (thinking Satin), should I just keep the 5095 rather than upgrade to the version I like more in the 5098?
I would be curious to see if anyone has painted the 5095 to see how they look like. pics would be welcomed.
Thanks

You can paint them, & I have done this on previous version Defender wheels, albeit silver. Nice thing about painting, as you scuff them up off road, you can freshen them up easily. On the other hand, powder coating them looks worlds better and resist scratching in the first place more readily. My wheels get thrashed, so I went the paint route. Don't know how the new Defender's wheels, which are 20's which model I am actually getting (?), my order does not list them by that kind of number. I frankly will most likely get some steelies that will accommodate the bigger brakes without spacers. Part of the reason I have driven Defenders for so many decades is their narrow track. Less conflict with rocks on the old trails I frequent doing ground truthing my aerial work.

Hey @Moretti ,
Where did you go to get the wheels and bumpers painted? I am in PNW and will be doing the same for my Defender.
