Also, careful if your AC cuts off on a hot day, ours did and it was a result of the cooling fans not kicking on so the vehicle cut off the AC to protect itself from overheating...

Ah yes, that is Salt Valley Road. Leaves out of Arches up near the Landscape Arch parking area, returns (if you want to) right at Balanced Rock. Great picture.

Looks awesome! I have 22k on mine now. Front struts changed, known issue witha run of them. My driver side rear glass rattled loose in Death Valley and was replaced under warranty. $350 for an oil change is madness. It is super easy to just change top side with a pump oil exchanger.

Get decent tires and with the offroad packages, it is an amazing vehicle.

@spikemd - What did you have to do to have the front struts replaced? I read a TSB that says mine are within the "date range" for replacement (I can see the Sept 2020 dates up on the struts behind the wheels), but my dealer didn't replace them when I mentioned I was seeing the front end low in the mornings.

24 months first brake fluid flush/renew, 48 months second , to keep your warranty period valid.

Yes. That seems more reasonable at 2 years. Perhaps that's why they didn't list it in their 1 year service.

I'll do a flush then although I reckon my brake warranty has flown the coop with my caliper trimming

Not necessarily. I am by no means an authoritative figure on the subject but my understanding is that in the US your modification must directly contribute to the failure in order for the manufacturer to void that portion of the warranty. Even then it's not the entire warranty.

@GavinC - LOL!! Me too. I'll do the flush next June just because I like doing what's prescribed (with the oil, even sooner!).

@nashvegas - I missed all that about the struts. Must have been asleep at the wheel or something. What's the date range?
