Anyone know why this is no longer for sale? VPLES0611... It's the full height dog guard, for a 7 seater. Local Rover dealer said "we can't get that part in our system any longer" but didn't know why or have a superseded part.

Some online vendors still show it but open enquiring with one, they said actually, no they dont have it in stock and can't order it.

 

Where are you located? I was able to get one locally. Absolute must have accessory. It also deters break-ins.

Anyway, try typing in a Google search for Rocklin Land Rover Accessories Niello and you should be able to find one in stock. They always seem to have everything. Shipping may be expensive.

 

Brilliant - have actually bought dog guards many years ago from LR Rocklin (for an Lr3!). Will give them a try.

I JUST got the cancellation of my order for one. I figured it was a supply chain issue. I plan on just "dialing for dollars" next week until I find a dealer with one in stock. I'm pretty sure that it is because the supply chain just sucks. It definitely isn't because of the chip shortage...

I cant speak to how active your dogs are but I have a pretty wild GSD who loves to ride in the back of my truck. I got the soft mesh divider with my order and planned on adding the hard divider later, but shes been great with the soft mesh divider. It gets the point across to her and it's easily removable. If you cant get ahold of the hard divider for awhile I highly recommend the soft mesh divider.

 

Yep...that's the plan. More of a gear holder than a dog barrier<g>.

 

interesting re: the soft barrier but it wouldn't work in my case... 2 bloodhounds (130lb, 100lb and a yellow Labrador 110lb). It's a stretch to find a car they even all fit in for a trip -- current favorite is an older D2 I have with an 88 RRC being a close second in terms of having them all fit. Both with metal dog guards. Basically... I need a velociraptor cage in the way back to succeed.

Also good to know others are having the same issue, I guess I shall also be "dialing with dollars" to see who has one in stock.
