Not arguing here, but I don't understand the "zero lag" comments. I mean, my naturally-aspirated R8 truly has zero lag, but a turbo'd P300 starting from idle? OK, sure, I accept it has zero lag "for large values of zero."

I agree, but I have to say the throttle response is quite linear and responsive during normal driving. Flooring it from a stop and you do notice turbo lag under 3000 rpm. Brake-torquing it helps, too. But these aren't drag racing machines.
