Lightbulb Active rearview mirror with camera

Yesterday I picked up my P400 X Dymamic SE Pangea Green after eight months of waiting. The interior of khaki ebony. Unfortunately, the car is not equipped with a rearview mirror with a camera as it was originally intended to be. This is MY21 where this mirror is supposed to be the standard in the basic kit so I didn't deal with it. I know that from MY22, this equipment is already extra.
Does anyone have a similar experience? I'd like the mirror with the camera refilled into my car. I'll ask my seller. Didn't anyone already do that? Thank you for your advice and guidance.

To my knowledge the clearsight rearview mirror wasn't standard except on jumpseat equipped models. If it were me I'd start by asking the dealer but I wouldn't be optimistic, especially about the pricing. Good luck getting one added, I hope someone has a good suggestion for you.

The Clearsight Rearview Mirror is shown as standard equipment on the 2022 90X that I hope is being ordered by my dealer with LR next week.

I could have this wrong, but my (very strong) memory is that 20s and 21s had standard Clearsight and standard Air Suspension, at least on all the levels I considered (maybe not the most base level). I got caught in the 21-22 transition (hadn’t placed my order but had spent a lot of time on the configurator) and had to pay extra for both of those when they had been free before.

Not sure North American options are the same for a Defender delivered to the Czech Republic.

There was a thread about adding Clearsight but I think they never found an answer.

Would require at least the camera fin, mirror, and wiring harness which may or may not already be in the truck.

Same happened to me. I was PISSED. Still grumbling. It was standard in a 2021 X-Dynamic HSE. Then they peeled it out as a $450 option on a 2022. NO ONE asked if I'd pay, they just wiped it. Ditto the e-Diff. Would have paid there too. It has happened to many others. In fact I think it likely happened (whether they noticed or not) to everyone that the trim level applied to. I suspect it was heavy handed change by JLR that most dealers were clueless about until too late.

I'm mostly sure this is the schematic for the '21 Defender.

mopadzi,

I ordered a MY21 which was changed by JLR or someone to My22.
This was OK with me but yes, somethings that were standard were now optional, including the Clearsight mirror.

I'm with GrouseK9 - my 2021 X-Dynamic HSE had the ClearSight camera, but I too was caught in the '21 to '22 switch over and it arrived without the ClearSight. That was the straw that broke this camel's back as the interior was wrong and the wheels were wrong. I ended up re-ordering an 2022 X which has the ClearSight. I doubt I'll see until next year.
I looked into retrofitting, but it really isn't feasible.

If it's any consolation, my car came with the ClearSight camera.
