Are you asking if someone here works in sales and is willing to do this deal, or if members are aware of any retailer that is selling at MSRP?

While I'm on the corporate side of things and don't work at a retailer- I would certainly expect that finding a retailer willing to sell this vehicle at MSRP will be an impossible task. Allocation is limited, it's a newer trim, it serves as a halo car, demand is astronomic and the demographic buying the car won't care too much about an extra 5-10K USD tacked on. On average, there's a large gap between the customers buying 60K USD luxury vehicles and those in the six figure territory.

While anything is possible- I'd say finding a V8 at MSRP is improbable.

I think the only realistic way to get a V8 at MSRP is ordering one from a reasonable dealer and waiting. I know of mine and another individuals here in Boston that were purchased at MSRP.

guess you’re allowed to dream. but no offense. V8’s are listed online for a min 50k over sticker and some 150k over sticker. they are extremely limited

it’s like asking for a stainless Rolex Daytona for retail

i picked up my v8 last month for 8k over sticker. Guess i was lucky and have a long relationship with my dealer. they called me first after a buyer canceled. they were at 20k over for everyone else

p400 are going for 10k over sticker. either pay up or wait inline

As everyone else has already stated, you would be hard pressed to find a V8 Defender at MSRP or even with an ADM below $10k.

I was very lucky and I found a Carpathian Edition D90 for $12.5k over MSRP. Most Carpathian Editions are going for $30-50k over MSRP….with some asking crazy prices of $100k over!

What makes it even more difficult for us consumers is the fact that JLR restricts sales to only within the dealer’s local region. This means you can’t do a nationwide search for the best deal available.

Just was at the dealer today picking up my plates. Every single defender is going for over 100k now all with sold tags on them. The new inventory is sold before even made public.

I’m sorry, is that a typo? $100k for EVERY model? My dealer quoted me a markup that I’m in no way happy about for my V8 on order, but sounds downright reasonable next to $100k.

yeah they only had V6 and V8s in stock. Every one was over 100k, by quite a bit. The only way to get a decent price is to build and wait where at least you can get it at msrp.

Very simple answer to this question. No. Not right now. Not that I've seen.

My bad, I misread and thought you meant every model had a $100k markup on top of the MSRP. But you’re right, prices are getting crazy. Thanks for your info.
