I ordered my truck with one, it didn't come because they're on delay, dealer doesn't know how long. Since I usually learn things on here sooner than my dealer knows them, just wondering if anybody has any intel on these?

Man. I'm glad I ordered mine with the car. I use it on the bicycle a lot and it's dead handy.

 

So I have to wait till Q4 before I can do any activities? That sucks!

 

I posted a "want to buy" add on the New Defender sales group on Facebook and got a reply from a guy looking to sell his unused AK within a week. Dealer programmed it for me and works great! Just make sure its the 315Mhz North American version. Worth a try.

 

Well, I've already paid for mine. It's in the MSRP. I just didn't get it.

 

Has anyone tried to change the band on the activity key? I used it kitesurfing for the last week and it was really handy. Only complaint was the strap and would love to change.

 

I purchased this one on Amazon, much softer and more comfortable than the supplied one, and goes on and off in a second. Others have replaced it as well, it'a standard 22 mm pin size strap, easy to find alternatives of all types and materials.

When I surf I stick my key fob in a lock box (same as what realtors use) and attach it to one of my rear recovery loops. Works great for me 🤷🏻‍♂️
