Anyone has had experience with Michelin Defender LTX MS2?

I have a P400 with 19 rim size which I know has very limited tire options. I just came across this Michelin defender that’s available in 255/65/R19. Has anybody had any good or bad experience to share about this tire? Is it better than OEM wrangler in snow and wet conditions? I don’t do off-roading these days but it rains a lot where I live so I want something that performs better than factory tire

You cannot go wrong with the Michelins. A lot of folks like the Falken Wildpeaks, but that tire is more for off raod. Go on tirerack's website and read the reviews of the Michelin tire you are considering.

I had the Michelin LTX MS2's on my Lexus GX460 and liked them.
It's a quiet smooth comfortable road tire that performed well in the rain and snow.
Not an all terrain or off road tire.
Can't speak as to how they compare to the Wranglers but I can say the Michelin is a very good tire.

I've had them on my P400 in 22" size for over a year now and no issues in rain or snow. Excellent reviews on tirerack, highly recommend.

General consensus on these forums is the OEM wrangler tire is horrible in the snow. Happy to see Michelin now offering in the 19" OEM size.

I just put a set of Michelin Defender 2 tires on a CX-5 that one of our daughters drives. Excellent tire, especially in heavy rain. She said they are far better than the Toyo tires it came with. I'm a huge fan of Michelin tires...just replaced the Hankook summer tires that came on my Golf R with Michelin Pilot Sport all season tires. The ride is so much better and the handling is just as good. I'll probably put a set of Michelin Defender 2 tires on my wife's Defender when the Falken Wildpeaks wear out. She never goes offroad and would prefer the smoother, quieter ride of the Michelins.

I had Michelins on my 99 Lexus LX470 for years, and they were wonderful.
No complaints. A competent, comfortable tire, with good tread life.
Highly recommend for standard on street use. Good in the rain too.
When I started off-roading and going to the snow, I switched for the reasons others have mentioned.

Just installed a set of 275/55/20 yesterday. So far they're quiet and comfortable (I didn't think the stock Pirellis were bad in this regard), and the cornering grip is slightly improved. Haven't tested in snow yet, but there is much more siping than the Pirellis so I'm confident that they'll perform well. I considered the Nokia Hakka R5s for winter duty, but didn't want to deal with a second set of wheels.

I've always been happy with the Falken Wild Peaks

What did you end up doing? I have a similar use case as you. I’m trying to decide between the Michelin Latitude Tour HP and the Defender LTX M/S 2
