Default Auto leveling possible?

Auto leveling is one of the best features on the Rivian. Has anyone attempted this with the GAP tool? Is this even remotely possible? I’d be happy if I could manually adjust each airbag and just put my phone level on center console.

Air suspension already has auto leveling, so it might be possible.

When my D90S starts after dark, leveling is obvious.

https://www.xlifter.com/

This is what OP wants, but for a Defender.

If the IID tool is similar to the LR4, it can probably go into build mode with the air suspension settings to individually control each corner. Nothing automatic though.

Right, but with airbags on L663 it is built into New Defenders. This gives older models much of the same capabilities plus a bit.

If you read their literature, it says it's built in on new Defender models. Mine hops up when I attach anything to the trailer hitch,
automatically.

I think it may already do this a bit.

Was camping 2 weeks ago and parked on a bit of a slope while in off-road mode. I used the lowering buttons in the back to get some stuff out and noticed a few minutes later that the passenger side was extended higher than the driver's and that the rear bumper was level. Maybe the function is tied to the rear buttons? Or it was my imagination? <shrug>

I just took it for granted and didn't really think about it again til now.

Any Land Rover with air suspension (at least anything within the last decade, or two) will auto level, including the Defender and Discovery. This auto leveling is ride height though, so like you said attaching a trailer, it won't let the rear end sag.

OP wants auto leveling the entire vehicle for sleeping or camping so you can sleep flat. Leveling it with the horizon. The XLifter and Rivians have this feature.

Correct! Something like the xflifter is what I'm looking for. Though, I can't imagine we would need a separate piece of hardware to accomplish this. Ideally, a feature that could be added to the IID tool app.

Also, it feels like a feature that JLR could easily add on their own. The vehicle already has a leveling sensor.

To the point of this post, it's such a simple software update for JLR to offer "Camp Mode" on the Defender, which would do, in my mind, something like the following:

1) things to the interior lights
2) not make it wake up and drain the battery every time a door is opened
3) security system changes
4) auto levelling

Yes, the IIDTool can do it - albeit manually as described.

Buuuut.... there just might be something coming

How can we get on the beta?!

Also, could there also be a 'camp mode' function that toggles on the other features mentioned? (dim lights, not drain battery with door open, etc).

As an aside, every time we go camping, i get the low battery alert from what I assume is having my doors open even though I'm OCD about keeping them closed. ¯\(°_o)/¯
