Default Can you use the old activity band?

My Defender came with the new activity key and I was super disappointed. I dont need another watch especially not a kinda flimsy fake apple watch. I was excited because I saw pics of the band below which would be perfect for me. Any chance the one in the image below could be programmed for a new defender?

I don't know if it'll work, but if you didn't know, one downside to the old activity key is that you still need the have a key in the car for it to work. With the new activity key you can leave your key at home.

If you dislike the new activity key that much I'd be happy to take it off your hands! My first defender had it and I really miss it with my new one. Functioned as it's supposed to and the screen allowed for extra features the original band did not have.

I really wanted one when I ordered my Defender back in '21. Since then they've been in and out of stock and I REALLY can't stomach paying a Dealer to sync it. I'm pretty sure there's a way with my GAP to do it. Needless to say, the novelty has warn off. I'm at the point now, that if I wanted the features, I would DEFINITELY just buy an Apple watch and use it instead. Then I have something that integrates with a whole bunch of other stuff. For the price: Apple Watch with the features vs. Activity Key - it's a no brainer for me. I'm sure I'm missing a lot of reasons others like them, and I'm happy that it works. For me a nope (and yes, I would put it in a Farrady bag <sp?> so I could keep my key inside without triggering the battery vampires if I went with the Apple watch).

BTW - The only thing I would like is the opportunity to remote lock/unlock without having to carry the key. I'm sure there's a ton of use cases that others have that don't match for me.
